Pow Inc. Acquires Holden Outerwear

In some crazy news, the popular snowboard outerwear and streetwear company Holden Outerwear has been sold to Pow Inc (owner of POW gloves and Spacecraft Collective). Holden Outerwear was founded by legendary professional snowboarder Mike LeBlanc and designer Scott Zergebel. The company has been seeing really steady growth over the last few seasons and seemed to be in trouble this year when lots of their products shipped much later than expected. Holden has been making some of the most fashion forward outerwear in the industry for a while now, all while trying to use environmentally friendly materials, but not over marketing this aspect of the company or “green washing” people. The sale leaves POW Inc. with 100% ownership of the brand as of December 1st 2013, but LeBlanc and Zergebel and going to stay working directly with Holden.
